The Shire of Forth Castle Shared Recipies

Dough
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 1/2 c warm water
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/4 c veg oil
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 lg eggs lightly beaten
- 4 c bread flour (1 wheat 3 white)
let rise 1 hour or until has doubled in size

Filling
- 1/4 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c ground turkey
- 2 c shredded cabbage
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sage
Cook onion and turkey til browned, stirring to
crumble. Add cabbage, stir till wilted, add seasoning.
Set aside to cool.

Punch down dough, rest 5 min. Cut in half. Roll out
half to 11x7 inch rectangle. Cut into 6 squares. Spoon
1/4 c filling onto each square, bring corners up
togeather and pinch seams. Let rise 20 min.
Bake 15 minutes or until brown and sound hollow when
tapped. Cool on wire racks.

To freeze cool completely, wrap individually in
foil, place in ziploc bag, freeze up to 3 months.
